Part 2: Advancing Radio Operation #
Part 1 explained why radio equipment and signals behave as they do. Part 2 puts those explanations to work at the station, where they often show what to do next. A wattmeter can read full power while your signal splatters onto nearby frequencies. A noise blanker can hide interference without removing its source.
Your explanations now become decisions: installing and testing equipment safely, measuring what your station really does, completing contacts under demanding conditions, and using your privileges within the rules, including helping others earn theirs.
Some of these activities may already be part of your operating routine; others may be reasons you want to upgrade.
